While Matt may not have a library full of leather bound books, he is kind of a big deal. As a player, coach, trainer, and scout his baseball pedigree is unique, varied, and rare to find in Minnesota. Matt was a standout player at St. Louis Park High School, Normandale CC, and the University of Northern Iowa. Add three seasons of professional baseball and twenty-six of townball and this guy has played a lot of games. He has coached teams at every level of youth baseball from high school varsity to little league. He has trained hundreds of players with a variety of backgrounds, from Big Leaguers to people picking up a bat for the first time. Matt worked for fifteen years as a scout at Inside Edge and is an associate scout for the LA Dodgers. He has even umped some games, but says he doesn’t like it much.
(Director of Recruitment)
Sean graduated from High School at St. Thomas Academy, going on to play college baseball at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), Concordia University, and Dakota County Technical College. His connections with coaches and his understanding of the process has enabled him to place countless players in college programs. In addition to his recruiting savvy, Sean has been training and giving instruction since 2010, molding the players that would eventually be recruited.
During his career at Chanhassen High School, Nick Smith led his team to a class 3A state title in 2015, being named team MVP in the process.
