Zach Elder

Zach Elder runs the strength, conditioning, and pitching side of MacStrength. He played D2 baseball at Saint Leo University in Tampa, FL, where he earned his BS in Sport Business, then returned to Minnesota to complete his MS in Exercise Science at Concordia University–St. Paul. While at Concordia he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach working with football, volleyball, cross country, and baseball. He holds the NSCA's CSCS certification and has consulted with pro hockey players in the ECHL, USHL, and European leagues since 2018. Zach co-hosts The Professional Amateurs Podcast with Dr. Alex Twenge and is a beta partner with Rapsodo. His specialty is long-term athletic development — taking athletes from age 8 to 28 and building them into complete players.
