MACSTRENGTH
SAN DIEGO
A holistic baseball and softball performance organization. Strength, skill, rehab, mindset, club teams, recruiting – under one roof, by coaches who've played the game.

SUMMER 2026 TRAINING CAMPS ARE NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

THE APPROACH
Most facilities pick a lane: hitting only, strength only, club ball only. We pioneered the model that pulls all of it under one roof, because becoming a complete player has never been one thing. It's strength and skill and recovery and the head game and the right level of competition. Get any one of those wrong and the whole stack stalls.
So we built the stack.

RYNE MCNARY
Ryne McNary grew up on a baseball field, immersed in the game from an early age. Named after three legendary MLB players—Ryne Sandberg, Brooks Robinson, and Satchel Paige—his passion for baseball shaped his journey as both a player and coach. He competed at the collegiate level as a pitcher for Fisher College in Boston. During his senior season, he posted a standout 1.90 ERA, ranking in the top 10 all-time for single-season reliever ERA at the school and tying the single-season appearances record as a reliever.
With over 13 years of coaching experience, Ryne is dedicated to developing complete athletes through a holistic training approach. By combining skill development, strength & conditioning, and mental performance training, he helps players maximize their potential on and off the field. As a part of MacStrength MN, Ryne is committed to guiding athletes through every aspect of their journey—from refining mechanics to building resilience and preparing for the next level.

"THE STRENGTH PROGRAMS ARE DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER PROGRAM I’VE BEEN APART OF AND ARE TAILORED AROUND AN INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES IN AND OUT OF SEASON NEEDS. ONE OF THE BEST PIECES OF THE PROGRAM IS THE ABILITY TO USE MINIMAL EQUIPMENT AND EXPLORE WHAT YOUR BODY CAN DO JUST THROUGH MOVEMENT. ANOTHER GREAT PIECE IS THE ABILITY TO MODIFY AND ADJUST EASILY WITHIN SEASON SO YOU’RE NOT FATIGUED AND READY FOR EACH GAME."
Alex Mihalakis, Long Beach State, Mission College, Minnetonka HS
I ALWAYS LIKE THE COMMUNITY THAT MACSTRENGTH HAS BETWEEN THE PLAYERS THEMSELVES AND THE INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WHICH THE MACSTRENGTH STAFF HAVE WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL PLAYER. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE MADE BIG PROGRESS WITH BOTH MY HITTING POWER AND CONSISTENCY, LEADING TO AN OVERALL BETTER SWING.
Cullen Kelly, Edina HS
"AS AN ATHLETE, YOU GET PUSHED TOWARDS YOUR UPMOST POTENTIAL. COACHES ARE DEDICATED IN PROVIDING SUPPORT AND TRAINING FOR EVERY ATHLETE. I’VE LOVED THE RELATIONSHIPS I’VE MADE WITH BOTH ATHLETES AND COACHES THROUGHOUT MY TIME. NOWHERE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A BETTER BASEBALL PLAYER THAN AT THE FACILITY. BRING THE JOY BACK TO BASEBALL."
Shea Pekarek, Concordia St. Paul, St. Louis Park HS
"THINGS THAT CAN BE MADE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT GET DISTILLED INTO SIMPLE, COMPREHENSIBLE SUGGESTIONS. MACSTRENGTH'S STAFF DO A PHENOMENAL JOB OF COACHING YOU SO THAT YOU LEARN AND DEVELOP WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT UP IN THE WEEDS OF MECHANICS. I’VE EVEN FOUND THAT MY MECHANICS AND MY UNDERSTANDING OF THEM HAVE IMPROVED GREATLY BY FOCUSING ON BEING AN ATHLETE INSTEAD OF A TECHNICIAN."
Caidan Moore, Minnehaha Academy
WHERE IT STARTED
Founded by Aaron "Mac" McEachran – former Toronto Blue Jays draft pick and St. Louis Park native – after his playing career wrapped up. What began as one facility in Edina has grown into a coaching staff of former Division I and pro athletes, with locations on three coasts. Many of the coaches came up through MacStrength themselves.
